About the firm

The rankings published by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (2023, 2024, 2025) and Rzeczpospolita (2025) place us amongst the largest consultancy firms in Poland. But rankings are merely statistics - the true measure of our effectiveness is the cases we have won for our clients, the assets we have protected from unlawful enforcement, and the businesses we have saved from the consequences of erroneous administrative decisions.

Since 2006, we have been advising business owners at every stage of a company’s life cycle: from choosing the legal form of the business, through day-to-day corporate and accounting services, to restructuring and succession planning. We operate in Poland and abroad, within both simple and complex structures, handling both routine matters and those without precedent.

We provide protection where the risk is real

We handle cases where assets, freedom and reputation are at stake. We represent clients in tax and customs audits, in disputes with the tax authorities, and in criminal and fiscal criminal proceedings before courts at all levels.

We know that a board member’s liability can extend to their personal assets. That a single disputed invoice can trigger a flood of proceedings. That the line between tax optimisation and tax evasion is often a matter of interpretation, not facts. Our role is to stand between our client and these risks — to anticipate them, minimise them and, should they materialise, to effectively counter them.

Robert Nogacki
Owner of the Law Firm

Robert Nogacki is a Polish attorney at law (radca prawny), the founder and managing partner of Kancelaria Prawna Skarbiec (Skarbiec Law Firm), which has operated continuously since 2006. The law is equal for everyone, but the parties rarely are: on one side stands an organization with time, money, and lawyers, on the other a person with one business, one nest egg, and one life.

Clients rarely come to him with a legal problem. They come with a problem that also has a legal side: an audit that began with a single invoice, money entrusted to someone who has disappeared, a company that has to be passed on before it is too late. Most such matters are decided long before the first letter is written, in decisions made without asking and in deadlines nobody remembered. So he begins by asking how the client got here, not what the client should have done.

He advises entrepreneurs and families from more than a dozen countries, including those whose accounts the tax office has just seized and who do not know what to do tomorrow morning. He defends them in tax audits, customs and fiscal inspections, disputes with the tax authorities, and criminal tax proceedings. He represents victims of investment fraud and Ponzi schemes. He helps families set up family foundations and plan succession, so that a life's work outlasts a single generation.

Formation and Maintenance of Foreign Companies

Formation and Maintenance of Foreign Companies

A foreign company is not a decision made once. It is a structure that demands fees, filings, renewals and decisions every year, and neglecting it costs more than running it. Since 2006 we have been forming foreign companies and, what matters more in practice, keeping them in good legal standing year after year.

Legal Advisory Services in Poland

Most entrepreneurs discover lawyers the way they discover surgeons—through emergency. The contract dispute arrives. The tax audit notice. The supplier’s lawsuit. The board member’s midnight call about personal liability. During prosperity, legal counsel appears unnecessary, perhaps even wasteful.

Tax Advisory in Poland

The Polish tax system is not complicated because anyone designed it that way. It is complicated because it accreted—layer upon layer, amendment upon amendment, interpretation upon interpretation, across decades. Regulations were drafted to address specific problems that have long since ceased to exist. Exceptions to exceptions have created a thicket in which losing one’s way is not a matter of if but when.
